The room we were initially given was not what we were expecting and was smaller than advertised. the area around the hotel felt a bit unsafe at night, especially for female tourists.

It was a quaint and nice hotel in a quiet area, really close to almost all the tourist attractions, the mosque and the sea and a miniature restaurant. We had a well furnished and impeccably clean room with garden view and everything was very good.

The staff at Carvan Hotel were very sincere and helpful, and they provided us with a small apartment when there was a mistake with our reservation. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast served on the rooftop terrace had a beautiful view. To quickly navigate around the city, I recommend using the Maps.me application, which can be used offline.

The room at Carvan Hotel was cozy and comfortable, with a tile/marble floor that felt clean and inviting. I loved having a flat-screen TV with satellite channels in my room, which allowed me to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Istanbul. The air conditioning in the twin/double room was a lifesaver, keeping me cool and refreshed during the hot summer days.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the bidet in the bathroom. But hey, different strokes for different folks!
